Over the past decade, Mediterranean Studies has become increasingly popular in US academic institutions, with the formation of dedicated societies, specialized journals, textbooks, courses of study, and book series. This talk examines trends in this scholarship, highlighting some of the main themes in recent work and placing it in national and international context.
