Chercheurs invités

Dr Colin Gallagher

  • Dr Colin Gallagher is Senior Research Fellow in Social Networks at the University of Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, where he specialises in the application of social network analysis to social issues and social processes involved in disaster recovery. His body of research focuses primarily on major bushfire disasters in Australia, the impact on both individual and community, in terms of mental health, social connection, and community-led recovery. More recently, his current work focuses on network governance and mapping social connection among community groups, and health organisations. His work is guided by a genuine commitment to the implementation of cutting-edge methodologies in social research, while also seeking to make sure that this research is as genuinely useful as possible to practitioners and community leaders

Dr. Johan Koskinen

  • Dr. Johan Koskinen is a Lecturer in Statistics in the Department of Statistics at Stockholm University, where he specializes in statistical models for social network analysis, employing a Bayesian approach. He has previously worked at the Universities of Melbourne, Manchester, and Oxford. A statistician by training he has primarily made methodological contributions to the analysis of cross-sectional and dynamic network data and been published in Annals of Applied Statistics, Psychometrika, and Journal of Statistical Planning and Inference, among others. He has also facilitated methodologically innovative research with a substantive focus that has been published in journals such as Quantitate Criminology, European Sociological Review, and Social Networks. Dr. Koskinen has been active in disseminating current best methods through frequent training and books such as the award-winning book on exponential random graph models.
