CRoCUs : "Territorial climate resilience: an analysis from cultural spaces seen as climatic refuges from heat and cold"

This research will explore the possibilities of converting the Galician Public Library Network into a Network of Climate Shelters. Slightly transforming existing infrastructures, climate shelters are public spaces that provide thermal comfort to vulnerable citizens, while maintaining other uses and functionalities. This project will lead researchs to develop and apply an interdisciplinary and participatory protocol to caracterize a library and its surrounding physical and social environment.
